(English version available in the end)

Principal’s Message
Dear teachers, students and parents,
Our Term 3 starts this coming weekend (20/21 July). There will be 9 weeks in Term 3 and last week is on 14/15 September.
As usual, there will be a series of activities scheduled in Term 3 such as Chinese Handwriting Competition for primary levels, Chinese Speaking Competition for junior levels and Study Competition for senior levels. These activities would help students to see how much they have learnt in Chinese language, extend their logical thinking and sense of competition, encourage their interest in Chinese language learning as well as creating a positive learning environment within the school. The details about the activities would be announced soon.
In the past term break, 33 students and teachers participated in the Yunnan Study Tour in Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La and Chengdu in China, understanding local culture, learning local handcrafting skills, visiting wonderful natural scenes, appreciating folk dances and performance and enjoying local cuisine. For the reports about the study tour, please click here.
I understand many students are interested in the similar study tours in China and I would like to recommend you one scheduled in Term 3 school holiday.

Last year, 36 students participated in the Chinese Culture Camp (Quanzhou) and the accommodation and activities left them beautiful memories. The Quanzhou Camp this year is partly funded. Participants are only required to pay $2100 for the international flight, Chinese local accommodation, transport, meals, local travel and activity costs and Chinese travel insurance (The flight ticket price remains the same by 23 July). During the past term break, our teachers participated a team-building activity and I believe they have been fully charged with passion in teaching and come back in Term 3.
It’s getting cold in winter. Please keep warm and take care. Let’s see you on campus this weekend.
Yours sincerely,
