各位老师、同学和家长：
大家好！本周末（7月17日/18日）我们学校今年的第三学期开学了。鉴于维多利亚州的疫情状况，政府依然在实施一些疫情限制令。因此，教育部对社区语言学校师生返校做出了明确规定，请大家务必注意做到以下几点：
1，所有教职员工和志愿者在室内必须戴口罩（教师在上课期间可不用戴口罩）；
2，所有需要进入办公室咨询、报名交费，以及进入教学楼接送孩子的家长，在室内必须戴口罩；
3，所有12岁及以上学生在教室里必须戴口罩；
4，所有进入校区停留时间超过15分钟以上的教职员工和家长必须扫疫情追踪二维码登记；
5，所有家长在上课期间不得在校园滞留。
请所有老师、同学和家长务必遵循，以此帮助保护您和我们校园内所有人的安全。
在这里，我要特别感谢所有的老师、同学和家长，我们在过去的一年半的时间里，严格遵守各项疫情限制举措，大家互相关心，共克时艰，保障了所有人的健康安全，在疫情中保持了学校中文教学的顺利进行！
此外，需要友情提醒各位家长：本周末天气不好有雨且温度较低。当您送孩子来上学时，请注意停车安全，给您的孩子作个好榜样。请勿在非停车位上停车或接送孩子，更不要在周围邻居的私家车道上停车，以免受罚。

Principal’s Message
Dear teachers, students and parents,
Welcome back to XJS. Term 3 starts on this coming weekend (17/18 July). Due to the current Covid-19 situation, there are still some restrictions in place. CLV has informed all the community language schools to follow these instructions on campus:
- All the staff and volunteers must wear face masks inside (except if teaching).
- All the parents must wear face masks inside when entering offices for enquiry and registration and entering classrooms for picking up and dropping off kids.
- All the students aged 12 years and older must wear face masks in the classrooms.
- All the staff, volunteers and parents staying on campus over 15 minutes must check in on the QR Code.
- No parents are allowed to stay on campus during class time. If you are expected to stay with your child/ren in need (such as early learning class), please register in the Chinese office on campus. We would assist you to apply for Working With Children Check. You are also required to read and sign the relevant child safe documents.
Your cooperation on the Covid-19 restrictions and regulations on campus would create a healthy and safe learning and working environment for all of us.
I would like to present my sincere appreciation to all the teachers, students and parents for your continuous support in the last 1.5 years during the time of Covid-19 and your contribution has made it possible for us to provide Chinese language teaching services smoothly.
In addition, I would like to remind you that this coming weekend would be cold and wet. Please observe parking rules carefully and do not park on non-parking spots or driveways of local neighbourhoods to avoid unnecessary fines.
I wish you a pleasant learning and working experience in Term 3. Let’s see you on campus this weekend.
