各位老师、学生和家长：
大家好！由于维多利亚州的疫情依然严峻，州长安德鲁斯Daniel Andrew MP星期三（9月1日）宣布维州疫情紧急封城举措将会延续至九月下旬。换句话说，维州的疫情限制（封城）将覆盖至我们整个第三学期。这样，本周末和下个星期周末（第三学期最后两周）我们将继续上网课。按惯例，本周末恰逢本学期普通中文各年级的测验、考试，这次我们不得不举办网上考试了。我想跟大家说明一下，我们的老师们已经在他们年级的教研组长的带领下为网上考试做好了充分的准备，各年级的考试形式也会有不同。考试不是目的，最重要的是希望我们所有的学生保持中文学习。除了普通中文部的学生之外，我们VCE中文部的学生一如既往严格按照高考局的规定开展教学和组织考试，如有任何变化会及时通知所有老师和同学。
此外，我要感谢我们有些老师和家长在上个星期给我们提出了他们对疫苗关注的问题。今天，我在这里将要向大家公布一个由维多利亚州卫生部授权、赞助，MCWH和新金山中文学校联合举办，邀请维州华人西医协会专家医生给我校师生定制的“疫苗与我们的生活”讲座，时间9月23日（星期四）晚上7：30分—8：30分。讲座会以中文普通话讲解，并可现场答疑。有兴趣参加者需要报名以保证名额，欢迎点击链接报名（报名截止日9月8日）：https://forms.gle/Shar2BuLPX3yyk3L9

Principal’s Message
Dear teachers, students and parents,
The Premier Daniel Andrews announced on Wednesday (1 September) an extension to Melbourne’s lockdown until the end of September. Therefore, Term 3 would be fully covered with remote learning and we would have two more weeks to go online before the school holiday. This weekend, we are expected to have end-of-term exams conducted online. I would like to let you know all the teachers have been fully prepared with support of teaching coordinators to conduct exams online and the forms of exams would vary slightly depending on the learning requirements of each year level. The purpose of taking exams is to keep students motivated in Chinese language learning. VCE students would also follow the relevant VCAA instructions regarding learning and assessments. We would inform you if there are any updates from VCAA.
I would also like to present my appreciation to teachers and parents who have raised their concerns and questions regarding vaccination. Today I’m pleased to let you know an information session on vaccination funded by Victorian Department of Health would be conducted on Thursday 23 September (7:30pm-8:30pm) with the support of MCWH. Aphra registered healthcare expert would deliver the most reliable and appropriate vaccine-related information to Chinese community in Mandarin. Q&A would be available during the information session.
