(18/06/2021)Xin Jin Shan Chinese Language and Culture School Principal’s Message
1,所有教职员工和志愿者在室内必须戴口罩(教师在上课期间可不用戴口罩);
2,所有需要进入办公室咨询、报名交费,以及进入教学楼接送孩子的家长,在室内必须戴口罩;
3,所有12岁及以上学生在教室里必须戴口罩;
4,所有进入校区停留时间超过15分钟以上的教职员工和家长必须扫疫情追踪二维码登记;

Urgent Notice Regarding Covid-19 New Restrictions
Dear teachers, students and parents,
We would like to let you know this weekend (19/20 June) is the last week of Term 2. Term 3 would start from 17/18 July and end on 11/12 September.
According to the updated Covid-19 restrictions, from 11:59pm on Thursday June 17, there are no limits on the distance you can travel. Masks are still mandatory indoors and recommended outdoors where you cannot maintain 1.5 metres from others.
Based on the new restrictions, we urge all the staff, volunteers and visitors to follow the instructions below on campus:
- All the staff and volunteers must wear face masks inside (except if teaching)
- All the parents must wear face masks inside when entering offices for enquiry and registration and entering classrooms for picking up and dropping off kids.
- All the students aged 12 years and older must wear face masks in the classrooms.
- All the staff, volunteers and parents staying on campus over 15 minutes must check in on the QR Code.
- No parents are allowed to stay on campus during class time. If you are expected to stay with your child/dren in need (such as early learning class), please register in the Chinese office on campus.
Your cooperation on the new Covid-19 restrictions and regulations on campus would create a healthy and safe learning and working environment for all of us.
In the last newsletter, I reported some news about the online Chinese Culture Camp where students have been busily occupied with abundant online activities such as listening stories, making videos for their presentation and accomplishing learning tasks while learning Chinese tradition and culture. The participants have fully enjoyed the camp. Please feel free to read them on our school’s website at Wonderful review of cultural activities.
Today, I would like to let you know the next online camp is coming during term break (30 June to 9 July). You are more than welcome to register online (due on 25 June) at Culture Camp Register Form.
Let’s see you this weekend on campus.
Yours sincerely,
Kevin Hu
Principal
