我校2027学年招生报读工作已启动

各位老师、同学和家长：

 

大家好！近来有不少家长来询问如何报读我校2027年的课程事宜。我在这里跟大家报告一下：我校2027学年的招生报读（包括招收新生和老生续读）工作已经启动，学校正在制定2027学年的招生简章（含课程设置和收费标准等），然后会向全校公布并开展明年的续读报名和交费工作。

 

目前，1-12年级的精英中文班的招生考试报名已经开始。我们第一个向华人社区发布的是高中暨VCE中文部10-12年级精英班的招生考试通知。我校高中暨VCE中文教学上有五个显著的优势：1，始终以教学教研为第一要务，以学生学习为首要目标；2，自主研发教材资料、集数十年VCE教学经验、注重提高学生综合能力；3，高中暨VCE教师团队名师荟萃，桃李满园；4，历年高分学生占维州中文学校高分比例超过30%（高考局历年高考高分榜）；5，我校是唯一在中文四个语种中均有高分的社区语言学校（此外，我校IB中文辅导班年年全员满分）。更多高中暨VCE（10-12年级）精英班招生信息请点击。

 

所有2027年在维州日校就读九至十二年级的学生，凡有志在VCE高考中取得高分的学生，无论是在日校注册高考，还是选择在我校注册高考，都可以参加高中暨VCE精英中文班的招生考试，我们会按成绩择优录取（精英班名额有限，录满即止）。报名点击。

此外，我校早教学前部在上个星期六分上、下午两个时间段召开了2027年招生工作家长说明会。我很高兴有机会跟早教学前部的家长们面对面交流，我特别感谢家长秉承“学中文从娃娃做起”的理念，坚持每周陪伴着3-4岁的孩子到我校学习中文。我跟家长们介绍了我校1-12年级的课程设置和教学安排，然后一起讨论如何让孩子保持学中文的兴趣和如何引导孩子学好中文等话题。我很高兴看到家长中有不少是我们学校毕业的校友（还有我曾经教过的学生），如今他们带来了华裔第三代来学习中文，那是我们民族文化传承的未来希望。我相信，我们的老师们一定会尽心尽职教好每一位学生的。

Principal’s Message

 

Dear teachers, students and parents,

 

Recently, many parents have reached out to inquire about enrolling for 2027. I would like to provide an update here: the enrollment process for the 2027 academic year—covering both new student admissions and re-enrollment for current students—has now begun. We are currently finalizing the 2027 admissions prospectus (which will include details on the curriculum, tuition fees, etc.). Once completed, this will be shared with the entire school community, at which point the registration and payment process for the upcoming academic year will officially open.

 

Registration for entrance exams for our Accelerated Chinese Programs (Years 1–12) is now open. We are pleased to announce, as a first step for the Chinese community, the opening of entrance exam registration for the Accelerated Chinese Programs (ACP) within our High School/VCE Chinese program (Years 10–12). Our High School and VCE Chinese program offers five distinct advantages: 1. We prioritize teaching, research and student learning above all else; 2. We utilize proprietary teaching materials developed in-house, drawing on decades of VCE teaching experience to enhance students’ comprehensive language proficiency; 3. Our teaching faculty consists of highly accomplished educators with a proven track record of student success; 4. Over the years, our students have consistently accounted for more than 30% of all top-scoring Chinese-language students across community language schools in Victoria (as evidenced by official VCE high-achievement records); 5. We are the only community language school to produce top-scoring students across all four Chinese-language streams (furthermore, every student in our IB Chinese classes has achieved a perfect score year after year). Any student in Victoria entering Years 9 through 12 in 2027 who aspires to achieve a high score in their VCE—regardless of whether they are registered for the VCE through their day schools or choose to register through XJS—is eligible to sit for the entrance examination for our ACP High School/VCE Chinese Program. Admission will be granted based on examination performance (please note that places in the ACP program are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis according to merit). Since its establishment in 2008, our school’s ACP Chinese Program (Years 1–9) has been guided by the philosophy that “every child deserves to be seen, and every bit of potential deserves to be unlocked.” Adhering to the principles of “high standards, rigorous selection, and excellent instruction,” we have created a premier platform for Chinese language learning, designed to cultivate a new generation of students who possess a cross-cultural perspective, a solid linguistic foundation and a profound sense of cultural identity. The program’s track record of success is indisputable: our students have consistently achieved outstanding results in global Chinese writing competitions and various academic contests in the Chinese language. Furthermore, we have successfully prepared numerous high-score students for VCE Chinese, with many achieving perfect or top-tier scores in their final VCE examinations. We welcome applications for our ACP Chinese Program from students who, by early 2027, will be at least 5 years old and possess strong Chinese reading, speaking and writing skills, as well as those who have higher personal aspirations for their Chinese language studies. Admission will be based on merit through an entrance examination. Click here to register.

 

In addition, our school’s Early Learning programs held information sessions for parents regarding 2027 admissions last Saturday, with sessions scheduled for both the morning and afternoon. I was delighted to have the opportunity to engage face-to-face with these parents. I am especially grateful to them for embracing the philosophy that “learning Chinese should begin in early childhood,” and for their commitment to accompanying their 3-to-4-year-old children to XJS every week. I provided an overview of our curriculum and instructional arrangements for years 1-12, and we discussed strategies for sustaining children’s interest in the Chinese language and guiding them toward achieving proficiency. It was heartening to see that many of the parents are our own alumni—some of whom I even taught myself—who are now bringing the third generation of their families to learn Chinese. They represent the future hope for the preservation of our cultural heritage. I am confident that our teachers will be fully dedicated to providing an excellent education for every single student.
