各位老师、同学和家长：

大家好！我们学校第三学期的教学在本星期（9月19日/20日）结束，从9月21日起放假。第四学期将在10月10日/11日开学，12月5日/6日为本学年最后一个教学日。

根据教育部的要求，维多利亚州所有社区语言学校在第四学期除了VCE学生之外，学前班、一年级至十年级学生保持现有网络学习模式。

因此，我们在这里通知所有老师、同学和家长：

在第四学期，我校所有学前班、一至十年级学生将继续开展网课教学，我校VCE十一年级、十二年级学生将会重返校园上课（具体安排请注意VCE中文部和班主任老师的通知）。此外，照惯例，学校将在本次假期为VCE十二年级毕业班的学生安排口语模拟考试训练，请同学们做好准备。

在今年新冠肺炎疫情严重，维州实行史上第一次最严厉的限制令（封城、宵禁）的情况之下，我校所有VCE十二年级毕业班的学生，在老师们的带领下，克服各种难以想象的困难，无一放弃坚持VCE中文毕业课程的学习。我在这里向所有VCE毕业班的老师和同学们表示敬意，祝老师们教学顺利，祝同学们保持勇敢的信念考出最好的成绩！

根据我校第三学期学生网课出勤统计显示，在整个第三学期全校学生上网课的出勤保持平均高达98%以及99%的出勤率，其中相当多年级的学生上网课更达到了全勤100%的出勤率。我要为我们学校社区所有的老师、同学和家长们点赞，因为你们认真教学、勤奋好学、积极配合，才会取得这样令人骄傲的好成绩。感谢你们！

最后跟大家报告一下，我校近300个班级的班主任老师将在本假期里参加由各年级教研组举办的教师教研活动。老师们将会总结、分享网课教学经验，做好第四学期的网课准备，达到进一步提高教学质量的目的。

春天到了，春天的温暖带来了绿茵遍野、姹紫嫣红的新气象。祝所有老师、同学和家长有一个愉快休闲的假期生活！

Principal’s Message

Dear teachers, students and parents,

I would like to let you know Term 3 would end on 19/20 September and Term 4 starts from 10/11 October to 5/6 December.

DET has informed us that all the prep and Grade 1 to 10 students in community language schools would remain remote learning in Term 4 except for VCE students.

Therefore, I would like to inform you that in Term 4, prep and Grade 1-10 students would keep on learning online and VCE 11 and 12 students would return onsite learning (please refer to a separate VCE announcement). Moreover, VCE 12 oral mock tests would be arranged during Term 3 school holidays.

I would like to appreciate all the year 12 students for overcoming the unprecedented difficulties in stage 4 restrictions of COVID-19 and never giving up their effort in VCE Chinese learning. I wish them all the best and hope they could make their best achievements in VCE exams.

In Term 3, the average attendance rate for our remote learning is 99% and in many classes the attendance rate reaches 100%. I’m very proud of all our teachers, students and parents for making such a great achievement with their hard work and cooperation.

I would also like to let you know that teachers of over 300 classes would attend teaching seminars during the school holiday sharing their experience of remote teaching and preparing for a new phase of online teaching in Term 4.

Flowers have brought the colour and warmth of Spring. I wish you a relaxed and pleasant school holiday ahead.
