新金山中文学校假期特别简报（02/04/2020）
各位老师、同学和家长：
大家好！首先，由于我们维多利亚州已经进入了疫情三级紧急状态，请大家务必遵守这个非常时期的法令法规。我们现在宅居家中防止病毒在社区传播，就是以实际行动参与抗疫为我们澳大利亚最终战胜疫情做出了贡献。
其次，我们要避免学生在假期成为电脑游戏网虫。这个特殊的假期是家长和孩子增加亲子互动的好机会。希望家长们多听孩子讲讲他们在日校和中文学校的学习和生活情况，与孩子共同讨论他们成长路上遇到的问题和将会面临的挑战，跟孩子一起锻炼身体、一起学习，成为孩子的知心朋友和指导者。
还有，虽然假期我校办公室老师在家上班，但各项工作还在正常进行之中。本星期，我们为1-9年级学生提供定制的“读绘本，学中文”（七集）学中文视频资料

Dear teachers, students and parents,
As the Stage 3 of Coronavirus Lockdown Restrictions has come into effect in Victoria, please follow all the relevant regulations at this difficult time. Let’s try our best staying at home stopping the spread of the virus in community and make our own contribution to the fight against COVID-19 in Australia.
We would also like to encourage parents to take this opportunity to build a strong bond with your children, listening to what they have experienced in mainstream schools and the weekend Chinese school, talking about their concerns and challenges they are facing, playing with them, doing exercise with them and becoming friends and tutors of your children.
Although our admins staffs are now working at home, our daily administration work is still going as usual.
This week, we have made 7 episodes of “Learn Chinese in Chinese Fairy Tales” available for Grade 1-9 students.
