2022年 “中华文化大乐园” 大洋洲园开营通知
——第二学期假期冬令营活动
深受我校学生和家长们喜爱和欢迎的“中华文化大乐园”假期活动，今年第二学期将再次在我校举办。大乐园活动根据海外华裔青少年的特点和需要，以优秀的中华传统文化为核心，涉及中华才艺类、语言类、文化类及多种文化体验活动，在参营者心中种下文明传承的火种，激发了他们对中华文化的兴趣与热爱，也鼓舞海外中文教育者不断与时偕行。
疫情前，我校曾连续多年成功举办“中华文化大乐园”，丰富多彩的文化课程安排和专业老师的全情投入使得这一活动是我校学生的最爱，成为我校的明星文化活动之一。北京华文学院在主办方中国海外文化交流协会的支持下，将大洋洲园活动特意向我校学生开放，让大家有机会参加这项公益性的文化体验活动。

活动时间：2022年6月27日—7月1日（共五天），上午9:30 分至下午3:00点

校园环境好，空间大，设施齐全，便于健康安全管理。
招收对象：5岁-18岁学生
招收人数：200人（额满为止）。
活动内容：
体验学习类：武术、舞蹈、国画、朗诵、书法、手工等
介绍感知类：文化、音乐、笛子、陶艺、茶艺、游教等
活动费用：
本次活动为非营利性公益活动，报名学生仅收取成本费每位$300，含场租、午餐和材料费等（参营期间统一提供午餐，具体菜单另行公布）。
如学生新冠检测阳性，或者得了流行感冒退出本次活动，可凭医生证明退全款。

2022 Chinese Culture Camp (Oceania Camp) Notice
——XJS Term 2 Winter Camp
One of the most popular events of XJS – Chinese Culture Camp would return again onsite this year. The activities have been carefully designed for youngsters living outside China involving Chinese language, folk arts, culture and history striving to promote enthusiasm of Chinese culture among overseas born youngsters and refresh the Chinese culture education overseas.
Before the Covid-19 has been spread worldwide, XJS has been organising Chinese Culture Camp successfully for years with well-designed activities and experienced teachers and it has been applauded as the signature event of the school by students and parents. Supported by China Overseas Exchange Association, the Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College has decided to make the 2022 Chinese Culture Camp (Oceania Camp) accessible to XJS students.
If you are interested in Chinese culture and arts and would like to have a bit hands-on experience with our volunteer teachers, you are more than welcome to join us.

Time：Monday 27 June – Friday 1 July (5 days), 9:30am – 3:00pm

Venue: Mt Waverley Secondary College Junior Campus

(The campus has a nice and safe environment with well-equipped
facilities.)
Participants：5-18 aged students
Number of places：200
Event activities：
Experience：Martial arts, dancing, Chinese traditional painting, reciting, Chinese calligraphy, handcraft, etc
Information：Chinese culture, Chinese traditional music, Chinese flute, Chinese clay making, Chinese tea, etc
Event fees：
This is a non-profit event and students are only required to pay $300 per person to cover the operating costs including rental fees, materials and lunch (Lunch would be provided each day and menu would be available later.)
If students who are positive in Covid-19 tests or got flu and would like to quit the event, full refund can be claimed with medical certificates.
