一，关于网上夏令营准备事项的补充通知
我校参加今年由中国侨联举办的“亲情中华.为你讲故事”网上夏令营报名工作已经结束，320多位学生已经分别被编入广东营、深圳营、福建营、余姚营和象山营等五个营。目前5个营已分别发出了通知，希望家长带孩子进入各自的夏令营群，等大家都入群后，我们会给大家介绍班主任老师，然后会邀请中国各地侨联的老师入群给大家介绍每个夏令营群的特色活动。有的营已经跟我们学校联系要给优秀营员和班主任老师准备奖品呢。
我们发现，在5个营里分别有一些已经报名的学生还没有加入夏令营群。因此，我们在这里要求所有报了名的学生家长请仔细查看您的邮箱，看到夏令营通知后照要求扫二维码入群。如果报了名，但确实没有收到夏令营活动通知的请即刻给学校发邮件（邮箱：[email protected]），我们会给您重新发出通知信的。
二，关于假期中华文化大乐园的补充通知
我校定于6月27日-7月1日在精英中文部（Mt Waverley中学初中部）举办2022年中华文化大乐园。活动由中国海外文化交流协会主办，北京华文学院承办，澳大利亚常青藤文化书院友情赞助。活动内容包括武术、舞蹈、国画、朗诵、书法、手工和文化、音乐、笛子、陶艺、茶艺等。
大乐园通知发出后第一周已有100位学生报了名。还有不少家长来电来信表示有兴趣送孩子参加大乐园。
由于主办单位希望我校尽快提供报名参营学生的年龄结构，以便他们尽可能制定合适的活动课程内容，以及聘请相关的才艺教师。我们学校也需要提前聘请才艺老师和班主任老师。因此，我们特别提请家长们注意：大乐园活动报名截止日期为6月12日（本星期日）晚12点。请您务必抓紧。
大乐园将以报名学生的年龄为依据编班，每班配备班主任老师。班主任老师由我校教师自愿报名，择优录用。他们将管理班级事务、给学生们上才艺课等。
大乐园为非营利性活动，时间上午9：30分至下午3：00点，5天收成本费用$300（含午饭）。从早上8：30分至9：30分，下文3：00点至4：40分，提供早晚托服务（每天仅收$10）。

Updates on Online Chinese Culture Camp and Onsite Chinese Culture Camp
Update on Online Chinese Culture Camp
Up to now, about 320 students have registered in Online Chinese Culture Camp including Guangdong Camp, Shenzhen Camp, Fujian Camp, Yuyao Camp and Xiangshan Camp. The 5 camps have sent out notices to the registered students encouraging them and their parents to join the Wechat group of specific camp. After joining the Wechat group, we would introduce you the camp leading teachers, and the representatives from Chinese authorities would join your Wechat group introducing the special activities of each camp. We have been informed that there will be gifts prepared for outstanding students and leading teachers among some camps.
We’ve noticed that there are still some registered students who haven’t joined the Wechat group yet. We encourage the parents to check your email box and join the Wechat group immediately with the QR Code provided. If you have registered but haven’t received camp notice yet, please send email to [email protected] and we would send the notice to you again.
Update on Onsite Chinese Culture Camp (Oceania Camp)
2022 Chinese Culture Camp (Oceania Camp) is scheduled from 27 June to 1 July (Monday to Friday) on the Junior Campus of Mt Waverley Secondary College. The event is hosted by China Overseas Exchanges Association, organised by Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College and sponsored by IVY Cultural Merchandise PDY LTD. The activities include martial arts, dancing, Chinese traditional painting, reciting, Chinese calligraphy, handcrafting, Chinese culture, Chinese music, Chinese flute, clay making and tea presentation, etc.
After the event notice has been sent out, over 100 students have registered within a week and many more are calling us presenting their interest in the event.
As the event host needs the information about the registered students and their age groups to design suitable activities for them and find the suitable teachers for the activities, we would like to remind you that the registration is due on Sunday 12 June (11:59PM).
Students would be put in classes based on their age group and each class is supervised by a class teacher who is responsible for classroom management and activities delivery. This is a non-profit activity running from 9:30am to 3pm each day and it only charges the basic cost of operation $300 for five days (including lunch). The morning and after care (8:30am-9:30am, 3pm-4:40pm) costs $10 per day.
