2024年学生注册交费补充通知
各位家长好!
我校2024年学生注册交费从上个星期(11月18日/19日)开始,第一个星期已有600多学生完成注册交费(占我校学生人数比例17%以上,超过去年第一周的注册交费人数)。这表明家长们对我们学校的重视、认同和支持,除了向家长们表示感谢之外,我们更要保证继续向所有学生提供优质的中文教学。
也有些家长在给孩子注册时遇到一些问题希望学校给予解答并帮助他们完成孩子注册交费。我们把家长提出的比较多的问题列出并作解答供大家参考:
第一, 为什么要办理学生注册
根据教育部的规定:所有社区语言学校必须每年办理学生登记,即学生注册。对于老生来说则是注册信息更新,比如,更新2024年就读的日校和年级,以及可能的家庭住址、健康状况、监护人等的变化。
学生信息受隐私法保护,报教育部专用。我校根据上级主管部门的规定聘请专门的管理员从事学生的学籍管理事宜。
凡是填写信息、交付学费、递交文件的学生为我校正式注册学生,其使用的课本、练习册等由学校免费提供(遗失自补)。他们的交费凭证、上学考勤记录、在校园内的安全、学生成绩报告(1-12年学生)等均会在学校管理系统内,并随时接受教育部的审核。
因此,每位学生每年需交付注册费一次。注册费不退也不在各种优惠之内。
目前,有个别几位家长仅仅替孩子交了明年的学费,但是没有完成孩子的信息核查和更改的注册事宜,无法成为我校正式注册学生。请家长尽早告知班主任老师,或者周末到校区办公室联系。
第二, 关于学生信息更新核查的做法
2023年在我校就读的学生在2024年注册交费时被称为是“老生”。所有老生家长只要在当时自己注册邮箱里搜索“新金山中文学校学生信息表”(或者简称“学生信息表”),就会找到您在给孩子办理2023年注册时填写的您的孩子的信息。请您务必核查所有的信息是否准确或者已有变化,请您以2024年的就读情况及时更改,然后加上2024年的付款凭证一起递交(请注意:信息更改只有家长自己可以做,学校的学籍管理员无权更改)。
有些老生家长反映在打开“学生信息表”后发现自己无法更改,我们查到的原因是那些家长打开的是2022年递交的学生信息(我们每年只能从上一年的信息表中可作更改,2022年的信息表确实已经无法更改了),有家长反映找不到2023年学生信息表。发生这种情况的话,请家长告知班主任老师。班主任汇总后会统一上报给学校,由学校管理员来提供帮助和解决办法,或者您也可在周末到校区办公室询问。
如果您忘了当时使用哪个邮箱,请告知班主任老师,班主任会请学校办公室提供帮助。您也可以在周末到校区办公室直接询问。
请家长务必将孩子的信息仔细核查、更新后加上付款凭证一起递交完成孩子的注册。
第三, 转账付款时的备注留言的重要性
家长在转账付款时,备注留言上务必不能空白,老生请写上“学号+学生姓名”(护照英文名),新生(第一次报读我校和2023年不在我校就读的学生)请写上“New+姓名”。只有这样才能确认您给您的孩子支付了学费。
老生的学生号由班主任向学生或家长提供。如果您忘了,请跟您孩子的班主任老师联系,或者周末到校区办公室询问。
如果您在转账付学费时忘了在备注里写上留言的话,请把上交费凭证发电邮给学校邮箱说明情况([email protected]),或者周末到校区办公室说明。否则的话,在财务核查时将无法确认是您的孩子已经交费了。
此外,我们发现有几位家长付错了学费,并已单独给家长去信解释,希望家长了解我们的学费标准和优惠举措。
我们重申我校的优惠政策:所有学生在2023年12月22日之前付费的享受每学期学费25%优惠(不包括注册费,注册费不在优惠之内且有时间限制),校友子女享受每学期25%学费优惠(不包括注册费,无时间限制);同一家庭第三及之后的子女享受每学期50%学费优惠(不包括注册费,无时间限制);优惠不可重复。
我校将在本学期最后两个周末:11月25/26日和12月2/3日在各校区内,以及放假后的2个周末12月9/10日和12月16/17日在Mt Waverley 中学高中部体育馆接待家长咨询,为家长解疑并协助家长完成学生注册报名事宜。

Extra Notice for 2024 Registration
Dear teachers, students and parents,
Our school’s 2024 enrolment started from last weekend (18/19 Nov) and within a week about 600 students have completed their enrolment process and made the payment for 2024 (about 17% of our total students, which is higher than last year’s enrolment rate in the first week). We sincerely appreciate the great support and acknowledge from our students and their families. We will keep on providing high quality teaching services to all the students as usual.
Some parents have raised concerns and questions about the 2024 enrolment process. We now provide you some Q&A most concerned for your reference.
1. What’s the purpose of enrolment process?
DET requires all the community language school students to fill in the enrolment form each year. For the 2023 existing students, they are expected to update their information online, specifically, their day school name and year level, possible changed home address, medical condition or guardians, etc.
Students’ private information is protected by relevant privacy laws and would only be submitted to DET. The information would be handled by our specific student database officers carefully under the instructions of our supervising authorities.
Students who have filled out or updated their information, made the payment and submitted the online enrolment form would be considered as 2024 enrolled students and they would be provided textbooks and exercise books free of charge (an additional fee applies if original copies are lost). Students’ payment confirmation, attendance record and school reports (Y1-12) would be kept in the school’s management system and receive DET auditing if requested.
Therefore, each student is expected to pay a registration fee once a year and the registration fee is non-refundable and is out of the discount benefits.
We have noticed a few cases where parents have made payment for their child/ren, however they haven’t completed the online registration process (filling in or updating the enrolment form online). They are not yet considered as our 2024 enrolled students. Parents are encouraged to contact their child/ren’s class teachers or visit our Chinese office on campus to complete the enrolment process.
2. How to update the student information online?
Students who are attending classes in 2023 are considered 2023 existing students. Their parents are expected to search ‘新金山中文学校学生信息表’ in their email box (the one recorded in 2023 enrolment) to find out an email from XJS confirming that they have submitted the 2023 enrolment form online. Open this email and click ‘Edit response’, you will be directed to the link of 2023 enrolment form where you could update the relevant information, upload the 2024 payment confirmation and submit the 2024 enrolment form in the end to complete the 2024 enrolment process. Please be aware that students’ information can only be updated by parents. Our school staff have no right to amend any information provided by parents.
Some parents complain that they could not revise their previous enrolment information. It turns out that the link is for 2022 enrolment. Please find the email for 2023 enrolment confirmation and update the students’ information as directed. If you find difficulties updating the information, report it to your child/ren’s class teacher and our admin staff would provide you relevant assistance. You could also come to our office on campus for assistance during weekends.
Please make sure you check all the information of your child/ren, update it when needed, upload the 2024 payment confirmation and click the submit button on the last page to complete your children’s 2024 enrolment process.
3. The importance of payment reference in your payment confirmation
When you make the payment, please don’t leave the reference section in blank. For 2023 existing students, please write their student number and student name in the reference section. For new students, please write “New” and student name in the reference section. This is the best way to confirm your payment.
For 2023 existing students, student number can be found in the payment notice provided by class teachers. If you couldn’t find it, contact your child/ren’s class teacher or visit our office on campus.
If you forgot to write a message in the payment reference, please send your payment confirmation to [email protected] and inform us your situation, or you could also visit our office on campus for assistance. Otherwise, it is hard for our accounting sector to recognise your payment.
In addition, we have noticed that a few parents have made the incorrect payment and have sent emails to them separately explaining our price guide and discount calculations.
We would like to clarify our discount benefits again: all the students could have 25% off each term’s tuition fees (registration fee is out of the discount) if the payment is made by 22 Dec 2023. The children of alumnus could have 25% off each term’s tuition fees (registration fee is out of the discount, no time limit for this discount). The third and after enrolled child of the same family could have 50% off each term’s tuition fees (registration fee is out of the discount, no time limit for this discount).
Our campuses would be open for 2024 registration in the last weeks of Term 4 (25/26 Nov, 2/3 Dec) and MW senior campus (Hall) would be open for extra two weeks (9/10 Dec, 16/17 Dec). Please feel free to visit our campuses for enquires and registration assistance.
