第一学期结束暨放假通知

各位老师、同学和家长：

大家好！我们今年第一学期的教学将在本周末（3月28日/29日）结束。从3月30日起至4月17日新金山中文学校放假。

第二学期4月18日/19日开学。

放假前，我要感谢我们学校社区3500位老师、学生和CPCA的校园安全志愿者们，还有数以百计的家长们对我们学校的信任和支持，让我们可以面对种种困难，顺利完成第一学期的教学任务。

本次假期，学校没有安排组织举办学生活动。我们的班主任老师会给同学们布置适当的假期作业，希望大家认真完成，放假学习中文不间断。

今年12年级要参加VCE中文高考和IB中文高考的学生，班主任老师可能会根据学生们的具体需求安排在假期作强化训练，请留意班主任老师的通知。

本次假期，恰逢复活节，复活节假期已经是澳大利亚人进行户外活动、家庭聚会，以及短途旅行的“休闲季”。预祝大家有一个愉快的假期生活。

Principal’s Message

Dear teachers, students and parents,

Our teaching for the first Term this year will conclude this weekend (March 28/29). The school will be on holiday from March 30 to April 17.

The second Term will begin on April 18/19.

Before the break, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the 3,500 members of our school community—including teachers, students, CPCA campus safety volunteers, and hundreds of parents—for your trust and support. Thanks to your efforts, we have been able to overcome various challenges and successfully complete the first Term.

During this holiday, the school will not organize any student activities. However, Class teachers will assign appropriate holiday homework. We hope that all students will complete it diligently and continue learning Chinese during the break.

For Year 12 students who will be taking the VCE Chinese exam and the IB Chinese exam this year, Class teachers may arrange intensive training sessions during the holiday based on individual needs. Please pay attention to announcements from your Class teachers.

This holiday coincides with Easter, which is traditionally a “leisure season” in Australia for outdoor activities, family gatherings, and short trips. We wish everyone a pleasant and enjoyable holiday.

We look forward to seeing you at the start of the second Term on April 18/19!
